Endless Rails is a fast-paced action roguelite set in a ruined wasteland overrun by monsters, where the only hope of escape lies along a stretch of railway that seems to have no end. Players take charge of an armored train fighting its way through hostile territory, with the simple but daunting goal of getting out alive. Rather than steering a lone hero, the focus is on managing a rolling fortress made of customizable cars, mounted weapons and loyal combat drones. Swarms of bloodthirsty creatures pour toward the tracks from every direction, and the train must tear through them before they can bring it to a halt. The deeper the journey goes, the more aggressive the wasteland becomes, throwing larger and tougher waves at the locomotive. Combat is handled largely by auto-firing drones and mounted guns, letting players concentrate on building the strongest possible setup.
