It’s Fine is a lighthearted incremental game about a small indie studio in the last frantic day before its project is due. With only twenty-four hours left, the team has to turn a buggy build into something stable enough to ship. Overseeing the whole operation is Joe, a very demanding dog who serves as project manager. His favorite line is that everything is under control, which gets funnier as the room slowly falls into chaos. The game pokes fun at crunch culture, late-night coding sessions and the odd ways developers cope with pressure. Its core idea is simple: write code, spend resources on upgrades and keep resetting progress for stronger bonuses until a working version finally appears. Hand-drawn pixel art, an original soundtrack by Alon Amit and writing by a husband and wife team give the whole experience a warm, personal charm.

Progression in It’s Fine does more than make numbers bigger, because it keeps adding new mechanics. Each station in the office runs on its own resources and rules, and these change as the studio grows. The marketing desk can use a botfarm to boost wishlists, and a legendary Voodoo Kraken is waiting to be tamed. There is also a squirrel called Peanut who produces clean power until he evolves and starts throwing lightning around the room. The prestige layer is built around sleep, which earns Sleephours, the rarest currency an indie developer could hope for. Sleephours are spent in the Dreamtree, a tree of permanent meta-upgrades that unlocks new systems and special effects that carry over between runs. The game also hints at something bigger for when rest alone is no longer enough. Optional challenges can set the room on fire and grant unique effects, while hidden secrets and several alternate endings reward players who dig deeper. It’s Fine is a witty, handmade idle game that turns deadline panic into a satisfying loop of growth and discovery.
