Amenti is a horror game that takes you deep into the dark secrets of ancient Egypt. The game features a photography mechanic, where you capture images of various subjects. At first, you might only notice frightening details in your photos, but as you progress, the horror will reveal itself in real time. Realistic graphics and high-quality 3D sound fully immerse you in the eerie atmosphere of a 5,000-year-old mysterious structure. I do respect a two person effort of doing and releasing games like these, but in 2025, its really a mess, especially with all the tools we have. I couldnt even finish the game, because it didnt let me pick up a note, which is a trigger to the next event.

Most textlines are the real horror (grammatically), which you could easily correct nowadays or at least pay someone 50 bucks to prove read it…textures are stretching, some assets clip through everything, oh boy. Using BP Systems in UE like Horror Engine or premade menues is totally fine, but they didnt even care to clean them up. old texts from the blueprint are appearing (“dont need new torch oil yet”, its not even a mechanic in the gamestandard sounds from the BP systems are use a menu BP was used and I know from experience that you have to connect all the audio with this prebuild menu and they did not do it, so its not working properly (even the headbob OFF is not working, its literally 2 lines of code. you have the HUD dot visible all the time, also 2 clicks to solve this
