I am genuinely unsure how to feel about this game, and overall it feels like it should be an early access title. The combat is terribly stiff, and there’s no fluidity between light and heavy attacks. Runs way better than the first one did.Prologue/tutorial was very well done and now just getting into the main game.Only slight thing that stood out was the inconsistency of the accents with characters. Varies so much they sound like another character at times. Innkeep woman at Troskowitz in particular
no spoilers- -tested the game in beta-The game is absolute masterpiece. Yes it has flaws. Mainly NPC forgetting about events after quest ends, but I’ll happily let that slide. Sound design and music is breathtaking same as the first game. It really supports the overall scene and feel of the game. Graphics: well i thought the first game looked stunning with its amazing forest lighting. I was wrong. You’ll find lots of details in texture and lighting, that really can make the difference STORY: catching, meaningful, dramatic, yet grounded in reality is all I¨m gonna say to avoid spoilers

E.g. hero to badguy: “You are going down.” I really appreciate Gameplay: the game doesn’t hold your hand. you have to learn it both in game, but also hone your skills and understanding of mechanics. It feels very rewarding, unless you over do it and you become overpowered (maniacal laugh here) Sword play: theres a BUTTON for dodging!!! + masterstrikes = easier, yet not lacking in depth Overall I’d strongly recommend the game to anyone who likes medieval times, history, some challenge, and is fed up with all the hero-games I want to add that I got the game for free as a reward for beta testing. But im still buying the game, to support the devs, and the steel book looked nice
