Yep, this is the Yu-gi-oh that most of us know and love. The Sacred Cards and Reshef of destruction will forever stand at the very top of most fun games I’ve ever played, as well as Dungeon Dice Monsters; all 3 included into this collection and along with many more certified hood classics. The state of modern Yu-gi-oh saddens me as it feels completely soulless; a stark contrast to the vibes of these games. Unfortunately we won’t be getting these times back in the form of future janky YGO games with original twists to the core formula. But, at least we can play these on Steam now and re-live the good ol’ days again. And for those who got into Yu-gi-oh later on in time; now’s your chance to find out what is lacking in the modern era which these older games have in spades (that modern era of YGO games being, ever since Duel Carnival released on the 3ds basically) Thanks Digital Eclipse for the big effort! (bought on Switch as well, running great both there and on PC!) P.S. For the game Dark Duel Stories, there’s a special password you can enter to find Grandpa who’ll give you an extra reward after each won duel from that moment on. Password is

I hugely appreciate these classic games coming to Steam. Since I started gaming on PC, I have wanted so badly for Duelists of the Roses to be on PC. Since I have limited computer skills and also unfortunately limited time, I had to choose between learning how to emulate DotR or learning how to install big wonderful bouncy nude mods for Skyrim. I chose the latter, so you’d be doing me a solid if you put DotR on Steam. Thank you. The emulator is pretty light weight and the game generally works fast and without issue. I think some of the features are lacking compared to a regular emulator and you constantly have to overwrite saves instead of having save slots. The speedup isn’t really much of a speedup either. I wish they had put more effort into it, but maybe Konami is just testing out the waters first before they start to go through the lineup of other old games like Tag Force. But honestly I’m just happy to play anything Yugioh related that isn’t grinding up against Fiendsmith slop combo’s in Masterduel.
