Heartworm PC Game pre-installed in direct link
from time to time i’ve seen stuff about this game on twitter, thought it looked interesting so i decided to get it when it released, and i must say i am quite impressed! in my opinion it is truly a love letter to classics like silent hill and resident evil but i could also see flairs of games like american mcgee’s alice, the longest journey and syberia in it which i appreciate a lot. the game doesnt rely on jumpscares which i think is great as the novelty of them runs out quite fast. when it comes to gameplay heartworm plays like the survival horror titles of the 90s/00s, which means there is a bit of jank (at least to a person who might not be familiar or new to titles like this), however i am a survival horror veteran and found the game easy to play despite it. the camera dynamic was also fun and it brought me back to the good old days of fatal frame as well. also want to mention the enviroments are really good in heartworm, especially the wilderness level which i loved. the game also features some really good easter eggs from other horror franchises
