About The Game
An original design of a fantasy world, this single-player grand strategy game takes place on the imaginary continent of Eagarlnia where humans, elves, orcs, dwarves and the undead each share a corner of this land. Unlock unique objects and weapons owned by other heroes through a completion of designated missions. Win by training your soldiers where you also need to unlock special soldiers with unique powers. We wanted to create an original IP for The Heroic Legends of Eagarlnia because we wanted an ending that was unpredictable. Compared to other grand strategy games that follow a predictable historical story, Eagarlnia is based on a brand new imaginary land where characters, powers, and capabilities are unknown. We are an indie game studio that chose to embark on this genre with an original IP – something that we know very few teams would take on. Although we hit quite a few stumbling blocks along the development process, it did not stop us from trying to create a grand-strategy game experience for players that crave it. Choose your empire among several, and manage relationships with nearby cities, form trade pacts, keep your population happy, build armies and level them up with generals, explore points of interest and much more. Lots of things to do and worry about during the strategy layer and real-time with pause battle mechanics. Game gets pretty easy once you actually establish, You pull heros alot faster then the AI so the plot isnt really, conquer the world, but survive until you become powerful enough and then steamroll the rest of the map. Even with weak heros, all you have to do is brute force, once your heros level up a few times they outpace everyone around you as long as you attack responsibly Pulling 12 heros before the enemy has 8, spam attack and youll just be overleveled once you have 18-24 heros you literally cant lost unless you wipe your entire army every match This is indeed promising, however, certain features need to be fixed as the balance system is so broken atm. Certain factions such as Numidian or Constante are unfair from the start. Level 5 settlement need to be nerfed, for instance, the tower should deal less damage. In this phase, it is hardly playable, especially for the factions that start with a small number of city.
