Brigador Killers is a fast-paced isometric sci-fi action game and the direct sequel to Brigador: Up-Armored Edition. You play as a member of Team Anchor, an insurgent group sent to the SNC homeworld Mar Nosso to take revenge on the people responsible for what happened to them. The game mixes cyberpunk, dystopian science fiction, heavy combat, destruction, and mercenary warfare. The biggest difference from the original Brigador is that you are not restricted to controlling a mech. You can fight on foot and operate vehicles, switching between different ways of attacking your enemies. You can use more than 30 different firearms, ranging from simple weapons to advanced futuristic equipment. You can also find combat rigs, salvage destroyed vehicles for parts, and use those parts to build new weapons and machines at your base.

The game gives you a large amount of freedom in how you approach missions. You can enter an area on foot and fight enemies directly, or use vehicles such as cars, tanks, and bipedal mechs to cause much more destruction. Different weapons and vehicles allow you to create different combat strategies, so one mission might involve careful movement and shooting while another can turn into a huge battle involving armored machines and explosions. A major part of the progression system is building your own private arsenal. During missions, you can discover weapons, vehicles, equipment, and parts. Successful missions allow you to obtain better equipment and then use it to tackle increasingly difficult missions. This creates a loop of fight → collect equipment → upgrade your arsenal → take on harder missions.
