Sunset Angels is a story-driven visual novel set in Sunborn Bay, a sleepy seaside town where the rhythm of life follows the tides and the local obsession is volleyball. The main character was once a rising star of the sport, until an injury ended a promising career and left him drifting without direction. An unexpected message from an old friend, now running a modest sports center by the water, offers a way back in: not as a player, but as a coach. He accepts, half out of curiosity and half out of desperation, and arrives at the start of summer to take charge of a girls’ volleyball squad that nobody else wants. What waits for him is a group in pieces. Some of the players treat him as a joke, others are locked in feuds that have nothing to do with the game, and the whole club sits under a cloud of gossip about the coach who left before him.
