Wanderburg imagines a medieval world where fortifications refused to stay put. Instead of standing guard over a single hill, every stronghold in this land rolls across the countryside on wheels, treads and stranger contraptions, hunting for anything smaller than itself. Villages pack up and run at the first rumble on the horizon. Livestock scatter. Rival keeps grind forward with siege towers bristling from their walls, looking for the same meals. The result is a minimalist roguelike built around a single ruthless idea: the largest castle on the map is the only one that gets to keep existing. Players begin each attempt with a humble rolling keep, barely more than a gatehouse on axles, and spend the run turning it into a bloated engine of conquest. The tone leans cheerfully absurd, with steam-belching battering rams parked next to towers of sorcery and knights pedalling bicycles into the charge, all held together by clean visuals and quick, readable action.

Growth comes from eating the map. Running over a fleeing hamlet, a wandering flock or a weaker fortress feeds the castle and adds mass, while toppling a genuinely dangerous rival unlocks a deeper stage of evolution. The fortress does not simply gain stat bumps, it physically sprawls outward as new sections bolt on. A modular construction system sits at the heart of that expansion. Cannons can be mounted along the flanks, arcane spires can be raised and staffed with wizards, explosive payloads can be rigged for close encounters, and enormous late-run strongholds end up firing land-bound broadsides like a ship of the line. Because modules combine freely, every attempt invites a different loadout, and some combinations tip well past sensible into gloriously broken territory. Persistent progression carries between runs through new modules, alternate vehicles, artifacts and captains, each one widening the pool of viable strategies. Mouse, keyboard and controller are all supported, and the presentation is tuned to run smoothly on modest hardware. It is a compact, escalating power fantasy about becoming the thing everyone else is fleeing from.
