Larry’s either got to retire or be put in the hands of a company willing to show some real guts, and risk offending people with it. As it stands, this mildly scratches a nostalgia itch, but that’s about it. Hooray, it’s Larry Laffer, but he’s dull. It’s like a monkey’s paw wish. Is this game a masterpiece? Well, only if you like groaners. The game is full of them. It’s a well-made sequel to Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry, and it continues the story with Larry, still unable to take pictures with a mobile phone, searching for his true love while preparing his wedding with another. Lewd jokes at every turn, in the text and in the pictures, slightly embrassing but not really something I wouldn’t play with my kids (they are adult). It has everything a good point and click adventure requires – strange puzzles, good animations, hotspots can be shown, save/load anywhere, voice acting. You can get a summary of the events of Don’t Dry at the beginning, but I would strongly recommend to play that first.
