About The Game
The main character spent his whole life working as a police detective. He’s famous for his ability to solve crimes, unravel any mystery and catch even the smartest villains, but things are about to change really soon. That’s where the story begins. Can one failure determine your future? Can you really escape from your past or at some point in time it’s bound to come back to haunt you? Or maybe… every decision you’ve ever made wasn’t yours in the first place? What if you’re just a pawn used for greater things to come? Deliverance is a first-person survival horror game in which you are put into the captivity of a deranged man dawning a serial killing streak with no plans to stop. Play as “Victim #3” and try to find your way out of your captor’s imprisonment as you explore a maze-like abandoned asylum. With only a flashlight and no weapons, you must be elusive in order to escape. Discover past victim’s notes to piece together their stories and also delve into your captor’s background to better understand him. But be wary, because if he finds you lurking about, bad things will happen.
Content is lacking, but the game isn’t finished yet either. So…if you are looking for something groundbreaking, this is not it. If you’re looking for an okay diversion, then enjoy. To spoil my low rating right away. Default RenPy UI, awful translation that gets worse and worse, and the same story you see all the time. “MC returns home after X years and the whole family wants to have sex suddenly.” And the big kicker is the scope of the love interests is already big but there’s still girls not in here yet? That’s absurd. And does no one realize you can make a sex game where the MC doesn’t have sex with his family? Because that’s a thing. This one is gonna be short from me, and I don’t think I’ll update my opinions on this later. But if any of my criticisms are addressed later let me know, please, I’d love to be surprised.

On to the “story.” Like I said, MC was away at college, his dad cheats on his mom and runs away. Mom that is essentially a model has self esteem issues, an aunt that has always been over affectionate, sister that missed her brother too much, and cousins that feel the same. The other part to the story, or at least where the game gets its name from, MC’s mom and aunt are turning thier large homes into dorms for the local college and MC came home to help with management. None of that last bit has come in at all yet, and it’s just gonna add more girls that have maybe one personality trait. Can’t wait… And there’s a whole bit in the prologue about cloning and stuff? I guess it’s some future plot point that will either make MC more rich or one of the females were cloned. All I know is it’s gonna be poorly translated and not make sense.
