About The Game
Miho adventures is a platformer pixel game where you control Miho in an adventure across an island filled with monsters and enemies of all kinds. The quiet girl at the back of the class that sometimes stares at you too long. No one really likes her… Horny and equipped with a new toy to try out, little Luna decides to entertain herself. But her risky self-pleasure at school is bound to be discovered eventually! Only Luna can have the sort of shitty luck to be caught masturbating and talking to herself by her most feared bully, and then left to fend for herself naked! Just how will she get out of this exposed situation? While super short, they don’t have some half baked time grinding feature holding you back from getting to the good bits and the animation style is quite nice generally.
Most of the time when you take damage, you turn invisible for all of your I-frames, leaving you to guess where you’ll be when you reappear (which is also the moment you’re able to take damage again). I constantly found myself in places I didn’t expect to be because of this, and usually in the line of fire. There are also situations where you can clip through the ground. As the game progresses, the poor design also starts to bleed through. I’ve found enemies in walls, enemies rendered upside down, even an enemy that fell upwards. It’s possible for some of your inputs to get completely lost (i.e. jumping or attacking) in some situations. And even without all the glitches present, the game’s balance just gets completely broken after finding an item about two-thirds of the way through.

And to finish things off, just as I was about to confront what I assume to be the final boss, the game completely crashed, with my last save being quite a long time ago. Needless to say, I rage quit and immediately uninstalled. As an obligatory addition to any review, the story is a poor excuse of a porn plot and the h-scenes get repetitive. The only reason I’m rating this above a single star is because the art really did seem to receive more love than all other aspects of the game combined, resulting in a pleasing aesthetic and attention to detail. That was perhaps the only thing that kept me going while I played, trying to swat away all the bugs I found. This one is simply a good game. The H content aside, this is a decent metroidvania that’s fun to play. The H content is admittedly not that great but I still kinda liked it.
