What about the narration and the story? It’s fine. There are way better titles in this regard – Disco Elysium for example, is the best RPG game I’ve seen since a long time, with mastercrafted narrative, amazing dialogues and the atmosphere. Tyranny pales in comparison to the way the story has been told in Disco, but on the other hand, Tyranny has an advantage of its own: the multiplicity of ways you can play and finish the game. The reputation system is really well done, as most actions of notice you take makes a person/faction leader or faction itself more friendly or more hostile to you. You can not make everyone happy, every action you take in which you gain friends, make others hate you or at least be displeased with your deed. Due to this mechanics, decisions you make really matter as they influence how the people in setting see you.
