About The Game
Force Reboot is a fast-paced nonstop FPS with rogue-lite elements. You need to clear each room before you can move on, but you need to be quick – your health is constantly dropping. You can top up your health by blasting robots, but you still don’t really have much time to hang around. Force Reboot is directly inspired by Post Void and ULTRAKILL. At the end of each floor you must choose a stackable perk that can aid your progress. These perks can include new weapons and handy buffs, but they always come with a debuff. Do you love the idea of movement shooters, but find yourself hating playing them because you can never react in time before instantly dying? Then this is the game for you! Tired of rogue-likes where you need to carefully dodge every attack because healing items are few and far between? Well how about regenerating 1/10-1/5 of your health on every kill.
Hot DAMN does this game feel good, no long loads, no carefully peaking around corners, you just GO and yeah, you’ll die, but then you just instantly load back into the action on a new run. Even when i had a great build, I never felt awful on losing, because it’s not like I spent 25 minutes getting to that point. no, i just spent 2 minutes of fast paced gun running, before biting the dust, and ill be right back here in 2 more. Smooth shooting action, swift deadly gameplay, blast, slide, dodge, dash, and sprint to the safe zones to keep powering up, keep defeating foes and keep moving to stay alive. Somewhere between a Sacrosanct Machine that fuels itself with blood and its imperfect sin and the heart ache and head achening visual anime read em up fervor of a grinning speedy Oni is the patient and pleasant pace of a Robotic Mistress landing shots and running an obstacle laden labyrinth loop alongside her ethereal Post-alive psychedelic mentor.

The gunplay and movement in this game feels incredible, and the artstyle looks gorgeous, it’s still in Early Access, so it’s got limited ammounts of content, but new stuff is being added in a steady pace, and what *is* already there is more than worth it, especially considering the leaderboards have already been implemented, so you can grind for better times and scores in the 4 different gamemodes that are currently available. Overall, it’s a great game, and I’m excited about what’s next for it. The first drone guy, I feel sometimes they have too much life? I dunno if it’s just me, but the single shot drone being so tanky even if it’s just 2 shots makes him kinda OP in the main game mode where if you miss him, he can gattling shot you to obilivion in the cramped spaces of the first floors.
