The life of a young mandrake is about to take an unexpected turn when he naively leaves the safety of his village. He is not aware of the dangers of the world, however, with great curiosity and an even bigger heart, he can surely surpass everything that gets in his way. During his trial, Ygg encounters friendly mandrakes, sly rats, wise lizards and a space squid, but not everybody is to be trusted. His journey takes him far from the safety of his forest town, into the unforgiving wilds. Help Ygg reclaim his special purple leaf stolen by the Rat King. A great little game with a nice storyline,fully of interesting new puzzles and a hint line in case you get stuck,developer very helpful and keeps in touch with the players[unlike some]. took me about 3.5 hours over a few days really enjoyable cant wait for their next game,well worth the price,play it youll love it.
Unpacking is a comfy and relaxing puzzle game that gives you the satisfactory feeling of unpacking and placing your items on their rightful place when you move to a new place. The puzzles in this game are mostly just block-fitting styled trying to include fun home decoration where over the course of eight house moves, you are given a chance to experience a sense of intimacy with a character you never see and a story you’re never told. You get to discover the story through the items you place, arranging bookshelves, cabinets and even fridge magnets. There is no rush, no timers and almost full control over where to place items. There are some items that are only allowed in certain rooms and places, but it’s quite realistic and I had no problems with most items. I was a little annoyed that some rooms seemed to have not enough space to fit the items aesthetically. There is also very little replayability with this game, and it’s finished in just four hours.
Uproot Direct Play:
The gameplay is your standard point-and-click adventure game, with just the right amount of touch-up for the modern gaming audience. Casual and Hardcore puzzle modes are available to choose from right as you start a new file, so there truly is something for everyone now. The puzzles that are laid out are just as clever, funny and satisfying to solve as they always have been in the series. The added bonus with Return, however, is that if said puzzles stump you at any point, the game thankfully offers a hint book that guides you step-by-step on how to solve them with zero punishments to your overall progression. Purists might be a little thrown off by this, but you do get to choose to ignore the hintbook. If you do, don’t worry too much about any game-overs or soft-locking. It’s still a Monkey Island game, and there’s always a solution lying around to those observant enough to spot it.
