Crysis 3 Remastered Direct Download
Experience the single-player experience from the iconic first-person shooter, Crysis 3, optimized to take advantage of today’s hardware in Crysis 3 Remastered. In Crysis 3 Remastered, the fate of the world is once again in your hands. Returning to the fight as super-soldier Prophet, wielding a powerful auto-loading Predator Bow that fires electric, explosive, and carbon arrows, take on new and old enemies that threaten the peace you worked so hard to achieve. The search for the alien Alpha Ceph continues, but now you must also expose the truth behind the C.E.L.L. corporation, which has turned New York City into a sprawling urban rainforest sheltered by a giant nanodome. Equipped with your legendary Nanosuit, you must assess, adapt, and attack as you choose your path and fight through seven distinct districts. Decimate your opponents in a blaze of brute force using the Nanosuit’s superior technology, or use stealth to achieve your goals and become humanity’s silent savior.
All these years later I finally decided to bite on Crysis. I probably didn’t have a PC worthy of playing it back in the day, but I sure do now! I was able to grab the remaster for $10 cdn and let me tell you I am glad that I did. I don’t read other people’s reviews and I don’t buy into the hype of new movies and games (like last night I started watching the new “prey” movie and it was garbage…sorry fan boys I turned it off after 30 minutes. The original Predator was miles better…) And to that end, this game has that old school vibe to it – something you had to be around to savour in the old days of gaming (I’m 46 and have played thousands and thousands of hours of PC and console games – so I know!!) This game has a campaign story that I am enjoying, and some gimmicks that are fresh (to me) like the Nano suit. The enemies are fast and capable of honing into you so even on normal it’s not a cake walk. Use your head though (like an old school gamer) and this a damn fun game!
Crysis 3 Remastered Direct Play:
The first half of Crysis is good, maybe even great, but it’s held back by poor optimization and hack writing. The second half plays like an unfinished tech demo made to impress EA stakeholders and other corporate scumbags. This remastered edition looks much better than the original, especially when using DLSS. However, performance is still an issue. Unless you have some NASA supercomputer, you’re going to notice stuttering if you max everything out. This version also lacks a quick save option, which might annoy some players. There ARE moments of brilliance in this game. I believe it’s worth playing despite its flaws, but it could have been so much better. It’s a shame they didn’t include the superior Crysis Warhead in this release. There’s no wrong way to save the world. It’s basically free with the bundle and Crysis 3 is a game that can still compete with modern titles when it comes to the graphics, so it wasn’t in any need of remastering but the extra graphics options are welcome.
