Its basically one of the old puzzle games where you travel around with arrow directions that change the scene, its pretty nostalgic. But its implemented in such a way that it is an absolute pain to understand where to go. If that is not enough, then the puzzle aspect truly out-skills most people. How the fuck am i supposed to know that if i want to find one of the characters i need to look up the week its currently in and land myself on the day of Mars to find the characters in that location. The only clue i get is the quest location i got is located at the formal temple of Mars, that is it. This game is amazing in all aspects except the actual playing part. Use the guide, if not, good luck. Sometimes you get dungeon crawler controls, but other times your movement buttons don’t do what you’d expect. Let’s say you want to turn left/right, sometimes the left/right buttons do that but other times you’re character just runs to a new location. Then you’re trying to backtrack just to go the right way,

But then you trigger random encounters, wasting more of your time and often times disorients you more. This is the only game where I need to save and reload just to move around. Most doors you can walk through by pressing up. Some doors require you to click on the handle, or an access panel to open. That inconsistency is sometimes a problem when you’re supposed to explore a zone to pick up a key item. You don’t realize you can access the zone since the door appears to be locked because pressing up doesn’t get you in. Lots of unfinished and messy questlines – Some quests are a pain in the ass to get through because it’s not clear where you’re supposed to go. Unfinished questlines are even worse because as the player, you’re not likely to remember where you left off and where you’re supposed to go.
