Happy’s Humble Burger Farm is one of those games that never allows the player to feel truly safe. This game, after playing, gave me nightmares. It’s insidious… and amazing! For true horror fans, this game is everything you could want. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I highly recommend you check out this game if you’re a fan of analog horror and meta horror. The only real complaint I have is the afformentioned stealth game play. A lot of people don’t like stealth game play, and I’m actually not one of them. When it’s done well it can really exhilarating for me. But I didn’t like it here and the reason for that is just how awkward it was. For instance, maybe this was just my impatience, but the enemies were often timed in such a way that they’d appear as soon as I thought the coast was clear. But the biggest suggestion I have is a way to deal with the enemies. It doesn’t even have to be combat, but once you sneak past a guard it would be nice to not have to worry about them anymore.
