Halftime Heroes is a Survival Rogue Action RPG where you fight monsters, defeat bosses, obtain loot and spend gold increasing your skills! 6 different classes with different strengths 4 Different modes instantly unlocked for different playthroughs Fight against hordes of monsters 5 different bosses waiting with awesome loot Roll for luck, throw the dices and improve the treasure you find! Experiment through different combinations of stats and spells Upgrade your skills and improve your chances each time you lose Every tenth wave or so, there is a boss who will make for you like no tomorrow. Killing the boss will make the surrounding orbs float to you, gaining you levels.
The boss will also leave a chest behind, run to it to open a dice rolling mini game (luck stat is important here) you can buy upgrades with gold for more rolls. Try to roll 18+ with the 3 dice + luck stat to gain most rewards. This is a grinding game in the sense you need gold for upgrades but saying that its not super important. Once you die all gold is available to spend in upgrade screen. Upgrades carry across in each game, so the more you play the more gold you earn and the more upgrades you collect.
Halftime Heroes Pre-Installed:
There’s a bit of a difficulty spike going to later stages and it’s hardly the most original game on the market, but Halftime Heroes looks good, it’s fun and there’s a ton of player agency. And it’s still getting updated, so surely there’s more to come as well! 3D Roguelite bullet heaven which gets a lot better as you progress, and upgrade to new characters. I’ll follow this company because I think they can do better, as I see this company has a lot of potential. Many roguelites are better, but there are some factors that make this roguelite way ahead of it’s time, and better.
