Mechanics and Physics are close to Rocket League but still a bit different, which offers a nice and a little refreshing handling experience. Maps and level design are well made, some of them really look well thought through and beautiful. The game offers you various challenges and difficulty levels.
You can either just try to complete the level, aim for 3 stars, speedrun without caring about stars or speedrun and collect all 3 stars. The last one is a grind, which I went through in one of the levels to get number one on the leaderboard and I probably won’t be there for long, because it’s so fun to grind out these levels. For a one man project this is absolutely astounding. Been playing this game since the closed beta and I am really happy to see how it developed and turned out in the end. Really good designed levels and intuitive gameplay.
Rocket Assault Black City Pre-Installed:
Most fun grinding system I have seen in any Need For Speed game. You are not forced to do every type of event. Like, if you are a drifter and don’t like racing that much, you can completely skip the race events and only do drifting for money and reputation. Same goes for the rest of events. You can exclusively do street races, off-road or time trials only. Or all of them. Also, the events are unlimited so you can always grind and buy more cars to upgrade them.
