Once, you were a legend of the Western Kingdoms, but you were betrayed and fell into disgrace. Now you and your crew are outlaws. A bounty has been wrongfully placed over your head and countless hordes of bounty hunters are coming for you! Will you be able to survive? Will you be able to clear your name? Bounty Of One is a fast-paced casual roguelite bullet hell where mobility is key. Play solo or with your friends up to four players on the same screen or remotely with ‘Steam Play Together.’ Play with a keyboard or a gamepad. Alone or with your crew, defeat endless waves of bounty hunters Upgrade your skills as fast as possible to survive ever-stronger waves of enemies. Collaborate with your friends and split the loot smartly (or argue about it yek yek)! Resist and more will come for you! But you are well prepared and you will show no mercy! Fight your way through the sheriffs and deputies serving the evil Undertaker. Find your nemesis, beat him and make him pay!
Each run is different due to randomization. Will you focus on attack speed? Damage? Or something more exotic? Beat the elites and bosses and get their precious loot, which can really change your game style. Some will improve your offensive skills, others the defensive one and some will do a lot of boom boom! Now my favorite part of this game is the Boss phases, it helps break up your run into sections and after you’ve killed the third Boss you’ve completed the level- and that’s a very clear end goal for your run. The design of the creature art and their attacks are all beautifully done, I want to see more of it. Even though you’ll fight Bosses on repeat- there’s still a challenge to be had when you tackle them with a new character.
Bounty of One Pre-Installed:
The environments are bland and some of the UI is pretty janky, but the characters and enemies look great, The art style is a mashup of wild west, ninja and fantasy elements and it totally works. The upgrade system needs some work but other that that the games is amazing and you can tell the developer really cares about this game . With Updates every 2 week and brilliant new additions every so often I can see this game going far. The characters are all unique and fun to use and they have really nice game play mechanics that are unique to them and them only
