Currently pretty short and only the first two towers in each set are really needed. There are two different worlds with two difficulties and 3 packs of towers + 1 (where you can mix and match) which are quite enjoyable to try out a new combinations of. There’s bunch of bugs, translation issues and the balancing of things are way off but it’s generally still pretty fun to play. I’d say give it a few updates and wait for some updates before actually getting the game. Now let me tell you why none of that should stop you from checking out this game.
The poor English localization isn’t so poor that you don’t understand and it made me smile in a few places. The sound effect problem is pretty easily solved by turning the game volume down and listening to music instead. There aren’t any auditory cues you’ll miss. Surprisingly fun for the price. I like the game loop and style, though at the time of the review there are quite a few noticeable bugs. The first ones that hit you are the non-functioning volume slider or having your view offset to the right for the whole run if you speed up the game while flying your ship down to the planet.

What made me stop after the first playthrough however was the fact that later on some upgrades stop appearing, for some reason. I assume it’s a bug rather than a balancing decision, since it’s not communicated anywhere, and my favourite upgrades become permanently unavailable. Still, I had fun. It’s true that the core gameplay loop isn’t particularly varied, but it does have multiple game modes and loadouts and difficulties and the items in game all feel very different from each other. The survive>upgrade>repeat cycle has a satisfying progression in my opinion.
