Just kidding, you will mostly be just clicking stuff and dragging and throwing it all over the screen Self-aware humor that simply tries waaay too hard. This includes timeless references that only our weird programmer can understand. Like “42” and “You’re gonna have a bad time”. What a nerd, haha Your goal in the game is to harass the narrator by completing the puzzles in the wrong way on purpose while also completing them the correct way. This creates a simple gameplay loop where you are completing puzzles correctly or incorrectly, hearing what the narrator has to say regarding this, and proceeding to the next set of puzzles. However, despite the basic nature of the game, the clever writing of the voice lines, scenarios, and concepts behind the puzzles allow for this to be a fairly engaging game when seen for the first few times.

Unfortunately, this engagement started fading whenever I needed to repeat a puzzle to obtain an in-game trophy or to fulfill a requirement for an achievement. The reason why is that the voice lines aren’t the most varied, and they tend to get a bit annoying when you hear the same voice line repeat multiple times throughout the span of the game. Also, the gameplay isn’t exactly the most riveting, so that quickly overstays its welcome too. You can ignore or mute it all you want, it’s still there All kinds of shiny rewards and achievements assembled by a hungry underpaid developer in a basement just so you can feel justified breaking another level and giggling for five seconds Many moments where you will be saying “What?”, “Why?” and “Preordering videogames is good.
