GYLT is a narrative adventure game with puzzles, stealth and action, set in a fictional old mining town in the state of Maine. Live the story of Sally, a little girl living in Bethelwood. Her life is not easy, and it has become even worse since her little cousin Emily disappeared. After being chased by a group of bullies, Sally is dragged into a twisted version of her town where her fears and worse memories are presented in a wicked and very real way. Get to understand the world surrounding and discover the mystery behind Emily’s disappearance.
You can avoid being detected by creatures, you can build strategies to distract them, through sound or visual lures or by attracting them. Soundtrack by Cris Velasco. I would like to compare this game to Alan Wake where you use the flashlight for attacking. The shift towards a more action-oriented approach may disappoint fans who relished the art of assassination, precision, and strategic planning in previous titles. However, the combat system itself is solid, with a variety of weapons, skills, and abilities at your disposal, allowing for satisfying battles against formidable foes. One notable downside is the game’s tendency to inundate players with an overwhelming number of side quests and objectives.

While these additional activities provide opportunities for exploration and character progression, they often feel repetitive and unnecessary, disrupting the flow of the main narrative. The constant grind required to progress through the story can diminish the sense of immersion and turn the experience into a checklist of chores. While the game excels in delivering an expansive open-world experience, it fails to capture the essence of stealth-based gameplay that originally defined the series Decide to either face the creatures or hide from them, in the same way you’d face or hide your fears.
