!!Caution! This Game is stillborn. It died during development!! It died during development. SAIVO is a short (10min) story-driven first-person thriller. Desmond Holeman has never met his family. His family disappeared in Finland 41 years ago. Now Desmond owns a small hardware store and has become a workaholic. His wife has pressured him to go to Finland to spend peaceful time at his family’s old cabin now owned by his great uncle. The story is basically a man is sent to get a break from work to an old family cabin. Things won’t be as peaceful as Desmond thinks. Gameplay is fine though I spent most of it early on wandering around aimlessly. The game is too dark in spots. Lights will be ur saving grace. For some reason the game started with near zero mouse sensitivity which resulted in not bein’ able to turn the camera. That was an odd choice but easily fixed in options. Overall I’ll give the game a thumb up. The price is good for what it offers.
It’s enjoyable in a different form, as the horror aspects are more or less gone, not to say you won’t feel scared or alone, just nothing compared to the original. Being a snowflake myself, every moment I spent with the game was a mix of terror and fun. With each round, players must fight off waves of undead enemies, known as zeds, and prepare for a final boss battle. The game offers a variety of different modes, including objective-based gameplay, ensuring a unique experience every time All weapons can be augmented with collectable attachments, and many of these drastically change how they function. Scopes are not provided on most weapons by default, so unlocking this allows you to engage your enemies from a further distance. The shotgun can utilize incendiary ammo or attach a barrel for a tighter vertical spread.

Despite these numerous powerful options, the game’s smart AI and well-balanced difficulty will decimate your dreams of effortless carnage, at least on the higher difficulties. I began the game on Hard, but found this to be too forgiving, so my first playthrough was largely completed on Very Hard, a difficulty balanced to perfection f you die, it is entirely your fault for not taking effective positioning, using your abilities smartly, or saving your more powerful weapons for when they are most needed While the combat itself is consistently phenomenal, the same cannot be said for the levels within which the fighting takes place.
