This game is no exception either, plays good on controller, the gameplay is simple but fun and the music is enjoyable to listen to as well.

The game feels a little easy, I’m not sure if that’s how I could describe it, but the bosses I’ve fought so far have been cake but you do have to watch out because you can die really easily early game as attacks do a good chunk of damage. Overall fun game, if you enjoyed Touhou Scarlet Curiosity you’ll enjoy this too. It’s a little early to give an in-depth review when I’ve only had a single evening with the game. Yet, this is a title significant enough to me to share thoughts as early as possible. Touhou Shinsekai (New World) is the third Touhou Ys-like that Ankake Spa has made. Their titles have always been ambitious for Touhou fangame standards It’s Touhou in a JRPG setting. I was concerned at how easy it was early on. It took a little while (up until Kasen/lvl 16) for the bosses to feel challenging.
