Live Cycling Manager 2023 is the ultimate cycling manager game. Select or create the club of your dreams and manage each and every aspect! Become the Sports Manager of a professional team and compete against another 40 teams until you reach the top. Control all aspects of your club: Training sessions, transfers, staff, race strategies, sponsors, finances.. Understandably so, given that the average person who doesn’t know much about cars can still jump in and have a great time. But it was a bit disheartening as someone with an automotive background to see how watered down some parts of it can be. It would be really cool to see more component models added so every car doesn’t share the same handful of drivetrains, or that certain cars didn’t have blatantly incorrect suspension setups, etc. Honestly a hardcore mode or something that really expands on the automotive experience would be really fun.
After a while it sort of just turns into a repetetive “point and click” as youre doing pretty much the same process across all vehicles. I love the detail of the game. At times, the easy mode is a bit puzzling, since some parts are hidden under layers of others, but I enjoy the journey of finding them. I do appreciate that they label tasks with the block location, which does give an indication of where the part can generally be located. i bought a racing game to win races, if the grind is based on racing then why would i complain? anyways, theres seemingly endless content to be played, most of it feels either the same or really really alike but i really appreciate the cheer amount of content Ivory Tower came up with, set peaces and special events really look and feel cool to go through but it is obvious that most of it were simple instagram filters being put onto your screen to make it feel different even if it mostly isn’t.

Theres so many decisions made in design which simply go all against the user experience to make it as annyoing and uncomfortable as possible and i will have to give you a couple examples to make some sense of what i actually mean: Every time you finish a race theres an unskippable animation playing telling you that you won, how much XP you got and how much money you earned, it takes almost 10 seconds every single time, right after that you’ll see some funny colorfull packages spawning in front of your car so you collect them, these are literally random generated tuning parts which also have (feelingly) hundreds of additional passive effects besides pushing the cars perfomance. Once your inventory is full and you tuned up your car, you gotta dismantle the stuff you don’t need and that.. takes way too much time.
