Super Catboy is a very solid platformer that combines elements of a light beat em up and a scroll shooter. The levels and characters rendered by pixel art are quite colorful and bright. As for the plot, it’s not worth looking for some great revelations here, because everything is simple and frivolous: A mad scientist modifies animals, making them full-fledged combat units, but a Cat suddenly appears among them, who decided to go against the old fart and fill his dogs faces. Of the gameplay moments – there are not only standard levels with a run through the levels, but also unique stages, such as riding a motorcycle or a mining cart. In general, Super Catboy is an exemplary representative of simple platformers that can captivate for the duration of their passage and even a little more, since any level can be replayed at will.
