Protect the rift between Hell and Earth from escape attempts by dwelling heretics. Punish sinners with monstrous towers that deal Holy, Unholy, and Hellfire damage.
Achieve great results to receive more cards for your deck. Work for various departments, each representing a circle of Hell, and cooperate with them. Ensure that sinners do not damage our property by keeping them from passing through. Receive wages for each shift based on the number of sinners punished. Your success depends solely on you. Be an integral part of our fun and delightful team with a shared dark sense of humor. There’s way too little build variety and the main game mode is extremely easy, everything synergizes with itself so you often just want to build the same tower/garrison over and over without mixing things up. There’s soooo many cards to unlock but you don’t even need them, in fact I feel like I’m diluting my pool with cards that I might not even want. I find this game quite easy sinces I complete the run in less than 3 hours, basically you have to boost one determinated type of building and that’s it but well we have endless mode if you want continue or use other employers for test you again.
Heretic’s Fork Direct Play:
I wanted to see what this one might have done differently and fully expected the same old and to end up refunding it, but the deckbuilding aspect really makes this hit different, not just as far as tower defense games are concerned, but also deckbuilding games. Most deckbuilding games have you try to shrink your deck to just the essentials for your strat for efficiency(slowly and usually with RNG, which didn’t feel great) and while this might still be an end goal here, unwanted cards are actually resources for you to sacrifice, leading to both faster shrinking of the deck while also making you want to bloat it just to sacrifice said bloat to reroll and upgrade cards. Plan strategies and build strength using our deck-building system.
