Buff HD is the ultimate arena shooter experience. There’s always a thousand things happening on the screen at every level and it never stops feeding you dopamine with its over-the-top approach to feedback. Everything feels, sounds and looks absolutely stunning, and it’s all paired up with a hilarious sense of humour. The combination of roguelite and action shooter elements makes for a really addictive and challenging gameplay loop. Likely just me, but when I have a god tier build and my first thought is “Can’t wait to see how I screw this one up,” I know the game is challenging I would say for 95% of the time, the success of a run comes down to player skill with the randomized elements adding nice little touches/challenges to give you a boost along the way.
