I played this a few years ago on the PS4 and bought it again for the PC. Obviously a huge improvement in graphics on the PC and everything worked perfectly. The only issue if you could call it an issue was the default controller profile (in Steam, not in the game) was emulating a mouse and was janky. Took me a while to figure this out and change the controller profile back to a gamepad. Then everything worked like it should and gameplay was a dream.
This is a well polished console port. The combat system is as fluid and dynamic as ever, allowing for creative combos and acrobatics that truly make you feel like Spider-Man. The addition of ray tracing adds an extra layer of immersion, making each encounter and chase through the city feel like a scene straight out of a Marvel movie. The game is an absolute stunner, boasting jaw-dropping visuals that rival any other title on the platform. From the intricately detailed cityscape of New York to the meticulously designed character models and costumes, every inch of this digital recreation feels like a love letter to Spider-Man fans. The improved lighting, reflections, and textures make the Big Apple come to life like never before.
