In the middle of combat, decide what’s worth ulting and which ult fits the situation– all in a split second, or your own pace.

Challenge the limits of what a “fast-paced movement shooter” is. Master the movement of REAVER, and come… break our community records. REAVER is a fast paced arena shooter with a focus on pulling combos. The early access build has 9 campaign levels, one bonus level and an endless mode. The gameplay consists of running around levels and pulling off combos to kill enemies, with an occasional boss here and there. If all this sounds familiar, that’s probably because you’ve heard of ULTRAKILL, so you might be thinking to yourself “why should I play this? It looks like a rip off!”. You should play it because it’s not a rip off. The two games share some ideas, but it would be unfair to call REAVER a clone, it’s simply a different take.

I personally enjoyed it, maybe you will too. This game does a great job of blending fast paced movement with precise gunplay. Reaver proves to be fun the entire way through and it has big ol’ butts. What’s not to like There is no “true meta” where one handgun does slightly more damage for slightly more recoil that other shooters are plagued by. You wanna shoot a handgun? pick THE handgun, want it to go full auto? You can just pick it at the weapons workbench! Every gun is customizable to maximize FUN. Each weapon is unique with their own mechanics so it is a perfect balance of action and resourcemanagement that only gets more intense as you ramp up the difficulty and get more hair on your chest!
