The port is fine for what it is. They tried their best to port a game made for two screens to work with only one, the art style looks a bit worse when displayed in hd, and the bonus content is a nice addition. Also, this game has denuvo. If you haven’t played the game yet, or have and would like to show some support to the developers. But if you already have the ds (or ios) version, then I wouldn’t recommend buying this version. Intricately plotted, with a dozen plot threads going on all at once making it impossible not to get tangled between it all, by the end of the game several of my predictions were crushed, revived, then crushed again. Almost every single character and location comes back in a different context, causing you to rethink your initial assumptions. Only for everything to get wrapped up together in a satisfying little bow. When all the little plot puzzle pieces started fitting together, it was just WOW. The characters in this game are really really silly in a very charming way, which is funny since the plot is taken almost completely seriously (Ace Attorney vibes). The gameplay is entertaining at best and mildly annoying at worst, a lot of it is just messing around and trying different tricks until it works, but that can be pretty fun in and of itself. None of the puzzles outstay their welcome and I never found myself wanting to bang my head against the wall out of frustration.
