The gameplay is really fun (and gets surprisingly challenging, especially in optional areas and in chapter 3,) the atmosphere and presentation are superb, and the story and characters are incredibly charming.

Have a skill tree and in the end you will have all skills unlocked. There is a variety in armors and weapons. The main story is great and memorable. You’ll finish it within 25 hours. Frozen Wilds expansion felt like a better executed condensed version of the main game. More visually striking, more challenging gameplay, more effective storytelling and less side content filler. Excellent sound design for the machine enemies and environmental sounds. Inventory menu and management. Bogs down the gameplay, there are too many different types of items to sort through and break down to keep inventory space free in a subpar menu system. This also applies to machine parts that are needed for trade with merchants for weapons and attire.
