Dino Trauma Direct Download
Dino Trauma Video Game The game introduces you to a place where gore and dinosaurs isn’t unusual thing. Inspired by Doom, Quake, Blood, Turok, Dino Crisis and all your ’90s favorites survival horrors. In three campaign episodes based on ’90s level design style mixed with current standards, players will battle through dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures out for his blood. Featuring a vast arsenal of weaponry including tasers, semi-automatic pistols, submachine guns, shotguns and incredibly necessary grenade and rocket launchers, Dino Trauma gives you a possibility to back to your lovely childhood with all PSX and PC classics. The plot is the exact kind of nonsense you’d get out of a 90’s survival horror game, complete with a poor translation that I’m not sure is intentional. There’s no voice acting, unfortunately, and the text logs aren’t worth reading, but that’s not why you’re here for this game. The reason you’re here is because you want a Dino Crisis spiritual successor and I’m sorry, but this isn’t it.
This is more like Trespasser, but functional. You’ll run and gun through hordes of dynos on even the easiest skill. You’ll build mountains of corpses from all the compsognathus that crawl out of vents. You’ll gib raptors into huge piles of chunky salsa. You’ll laugh and startle in equal amount as you grab a key card and every animal in the tri-state area converges on your position. Areas bathed in fog ooze dread as you try and figure out if what you see in the distance is abandoned machinery or a bizarrely aggressive brachiosaurus. In between missions, you can return to a command trailer to buy upgrades, extras, and stat boosts or watch short clips from vhs tapes scattered around the levels. Dino Trauma is a surprisingly engaging, crunchy little Dino Blaster that certainly offers more than its price tag (or the hours on this review – Steam Offline mode amirite?) would lead you to believe.
Dino Trauma Direct Play:
Blast your way through eye catching-PS1 styled, dilapidated research facilities while gibbing and bathing in the blood of prehistoric reptiles, unloading automatic pistols, shotguns supporting single/double and even triple shot modes (in spite of being single barreled pump actions), ‘nades that feel like they’ve been accidentally left over from a Stalker LARP convention and are stuffed with buckwheat seeds, and crossbows that feel like their tipped with rubber, not steel. The premise isn’t original, yes, but there is potential for an interesting story, too bad the text logs you find are devoid of almost anything interesting or intriguing for that matter. Because everybody loves reading how a minute diameter differences between two copper solenoids affects the performance of some random construction worker’s Hitachi magic wand – in a bloody dinosaur massacre game! The enemy roster is diverse and well-designed enough to not get boring throughout the length of the two available episodes, which, on the higher difficulties can turn your insides out in a few hits (a bonus for my fellow masochists.
