I actually enjoy. There is a kind of sense of a throwback to old arcade hack and slash games for me.
Also reminds me a bit of a game for mobile called “Hero Adventure”. I think your game could actually put a cool twist on this genre by combining some of the autofiring mechanics of a game like that usually reserved for Arena survival games, but could be added to a good old fashioned ARPG like this through legendary item attributes and other equips and familiars that could be added. As much as it’s a matter of personal taste, if you’re like me and can’t get enough of the grim dark setting, this could very well end up being one of your all time favourite games. I was looking at this game very closely prior to launch, but saw waves of negative reviews and held off. Glad I did. A lot of bugs from what I heard. I purchased the game after Christmas and it seems to be running smooth. This game lives up to the hype of the original trailers and teasers that I saw in the Fall. I’ve been playing co-op and have been enjoying the game.

The opponent can use a “mirror of protection” to cancel an invasion while you’re mid-loading screen and disconnect you while loading in. You can basically get as many as you want of these for the cost of a grain of sand at the beach, pretty much I spend countless hours trying to PvP and “invade” people because the combat when you ACTUALLY find an honorable opponent that will duel you properly, is SOOO fun. The actions are so well worked and makes for awesome game play. The issue with that is within a 2hr PvP session, you’ll be lucky to find maybe 1 person out of everyone that you manage to connect to that will be like that. I wouldn’t be hitting like a feather if that was the case.
