Explore colorful levels that burst with 8-bit charm as you run, slide, and leap your way through them. Every stage features a different visual motif inspired by classic video game styles, ranging from sunny beachfronts and bustling cityscapes to psychedelic neon tunnels and pixelated woodlands. As you sprint to the finish line, avoid throwback robots, blast through pixelated obstacles, and gather sparkling cash. The story, in my eyes, is…pretty forgettable and i think it only serves as reason for the world, the people in it and you to exist in there. Especially since all you see and hear are leaderboards and statistics between levels while listening to okay music. There is not a lot to dive into when it comes to the story. The DLC, Project Hel, isn’t much better in that regard, although making this goal a lil better.
Retro Run Free Steam Pre-Installed:
It’s awesome and incredibly satisfying when you pull off a cool move taking down an enemy and get into the zone during the platforming sections. The story is a tad predictable but entertaining enough to keep you invested and moving things along, and the soundtrack is really good. I currently only have 30 hours in this playthrough and it has been one of the greatest gaming experiences I’ve ever had. Cyberpunk 2077 has beautiful graphics, a breathtaking level design, a very well written lore, an excellent soundtrack, amazing characters and great mechanics. I really think it now lives up to all the hype it had.
