A stamina-based combat system inspired by the Souls-like genre and expanded with unique mechanics like ranged combat using a javelin, or different types of attacks depending on the enemy you face.
Designed to give you the perfect mix of freedom of movement and challenge, to feel like a real rock climber. You are free to climb in any direction, but you have to make sure you have enough stamina to reach your destination. From lost ruins to luxuriant forests and snowy mountains, you will discover a large variety of environments and places, each with their own specific features. Find out about the origin of Lumnis, its development, and why it has been forgotten. A minimalistic and stylized art style focused on atmospheric visuals and sounds. Some of the game’s story was a tearjerker for me, I liked the gameplay and story. The game captures the natural beauty and culture of ancient Japan well and also shows honor is not always a straight road at least not like one would imagine for instance as Jin we break the samurai code by using stealth to help a friend out. The game’s combat system is where the game shines too.

This game is epic. The combat is smooth and fun, with a perfect balance of challenge and satisfaction, and the story is captivating. The island of Tsushima is absolutely gorgeous, I spent way too much time chasing cute foxes to hidden shrines. The soundtrack beautifully enhances the experience and fits the mood perfectly. Exploring breathtaking planets and encountering familiar faces fills players with nostalgia and excitement. Despite a few minor glitches, the force of this game’s storytelling and gameplay is strong. I just recently replayed the game on the hardest difficulty and the challenges that were presented were nearly on dark souls level. I really gotta give it to Respawn for making a game like this, because for a studio coming from making mostly FPS games, this is fabulous.
