This game is Junk Food; it’s probably not good for you, it doesn’t look particularly appetising, there’s no real depth of flavour to be had here, and do not expect any fancy ingredients… But sometimes you just crave junk food!

Look, there are so many issues with it as a game; the UX and menus aren’t particularly great, the feeling of customising your vampire isn’t particularly good in terms of being able to really change how a character plays in any fundamental level, the story is practically non-existent, there’s no voice-acting or radio person in a mission telling you what to do but instead just text prompts Without friends who own this game I’ve had to play most of it as a single-player experience and, even in that the fun trashy arcadey silliness of it all shines through. It is not a great game, but for feeding that bizarre part of me that remembers the slightly rubbish bonus coop modes of the 7th console generation that, while not “objectively” good, hold some good fun memories.
