Guilty Hell 2 three centuries ago, he went down to the earth and subdued the monsters and the evil magician Nana. However, his power ran out, and the gods shut him up in the sky, where he waited for his might to return. Although I’ve been down there before, it’s still a secret. The best side scroller, hands down. The controls work well, the gameplay is well-balanced and integrated, and the combat can be challenging but rewarding. There is a huge skill (stat) tree to upgrade, much to explore, lots to see, and plenty of monsters to combat. It bears a lot of similarities to HoTM and Nanocrisis/whatever the first game is called, but without the “menu” gameplay and with stronger, more varied, and captivating fighting. Has a few enjoyable hours of gameplay, but make sure you download a unity translation (I use ReiPatcher); many parts of the game are not translated intao English, and it really helps to at least have a glimmer of what the heck is going on. I had a great time playing through it, and I’ll be interested to see how it develops.
This is one of the classics, one of GOATs. In my opinion the best H-Games are the side scrolling platformers, and this game is one of the reasons why I feel that way. The main character Airi is an anime dream. Her abilities are other worldly and can all be upgraded with gold and equipment. Gold is easy enough–kill everything you come across or tries to come across you–pun intended and equipment is purchased with gold, well most of it. Beyond that the world is yours to explore as you try to save human and fairy alike from ultimate doom. She’s the UwU doom slayer and I’m here for it Combat is simple and succinct, but word of advice–learn juggles. The basic string comboed into a launch then aerial combo followed by a smash is the single most powerful string in the game. Combine that with leveled up atk dmg and you clear mobs pretty quickly, which is important when you’re grinding for gold and some areas are better than others.

Stay ever mindful of surroundings: kick up dust to make the enemies lose sight or hop over stones and dodge into bushes to avoid enemy attacks. Mind the enemy: every attack is telegraphed, but take care, simply moving away leaves behind a shadow. This remnant of a character can still be attacked if there is no way to avoid it… Knock the enemies out of the way and into obstacles, shield weaker heroes with ones that can tank damage, as well as chain powerful elemental attacks using the environment. First off, the resurrection mechanic for enemies is so annoying and honestly felt like the dev threw it in to artificially inflate the difficulty. It’s not like Vek spawning where you have control of the board at all times. These mobs will respawn AND with a shield. It’s like the dev couldn’t think of good ways to balance gameplay, so they just made the existing enemies more difficult and spammy. Second, the ghost feature. When you move, you leave behind a ghost that can be struck.
