The Bathhouse | 地獄銭湯 Remake is a Japanese horror game that revolves around working at a bathhouse. We have completely revamped the original bathhouse with the following improvements: Their games are getting better and better. This one was excellent. An amazing mix of unsettling atmosphere, some unpredictable jumpscares, Japaene tradition and artwork and the typical Chilla’s Art humor. A true masterpiece after I really loved Jisatsu. Even their graphics are becoming more and more impressive when looking at details and outside scenes. Please keep up your great work and keep making these wonderful games. Only downside about this one was that some of the mini games made my head hurt. But thank you for adding a skipping option. This is one of my favourites from the Chilla’s Art Team! Highly recommend, super entertaining, good story, decent scares, interesting characters.
2 parts of the game fall flat though, the suana part (took me ages to figure out how to get past, not very clear or even fun) and the shop part (felt like a different game, very random and didnt suit the experience for me) best chilla’s art game by far. 10/10 recommend. skippable puzzles when you beat the game the first time so it makes it easier to get other endings. I have always been a big fan of Chilla, and The Bathhouse did not disappoint. It’s just as horrifying as the original, if not better. The graphics are noticeably improved over the original, but this comes with higher PC requirements. I had to lower my resolution and graphics settings (playing on an RTX 2050 laptop), and was able to run it at around 30 to 40 FPS, though it sometimes dropped to 25 FPS during particularly demanding scenes.

Gameplay-wise, there is a significant improvement. The chapter selection feature is a great addition, allowing players to avoid replaying the entire game to achieve all endings. There are three endings, all of which are relatively easy to obtain compared to the original game. The puzzles are also significantly easier and less tedious, which I view as a positive change. The original game’s puzzles were too challenging and time-consuming. PC optimization still needs improvement Translation issues are present Some graphics and audio-related bugs Will I recommend it? Absolutely! I consider Chilla the “Horror Master,” surpassing many AAA titles in the genre. I look forward to playing more games from this developer.
