The abilities can be combined in unique ways by the player to solve challenging puzzles, do platforming or battle enemies & mighty bosses. Master 18 abilities including fireballs, lightning rays, thorns & many more and combine them to become the strongest dragon! Find magical runes scattered across the levels and use them to unlock more & more abilities in the skill tree. Combine devastating attacks with helpful support abilities like shields, healing & various other buffs.
Collect elemental fragments to increase the power of your abilities! Every ability can be upgraded to level 9, gaining more power with each level. This lets you improve your favourite abilities and further customize your playing style. A great platformer with many different abilities to make passing the levels diverse and fun! This game features Dani-approved particles made using Unity’s particle system and aside from an interesting style quite a nice musical composition. The many enemies with a fitting design for the regions will definitely cause some adrenalizing moments while solving the various puzzles. The core principle of the game is simple and easy to learn, but the different paths of abilities and the variety in game mechanics make it in total hard to master. Some of the levels may appear to be quite long, especially when scouting for all the different collectables.

This game is a solid 8/10 and I recommend it to anyone who is passionate about 2D platformers with puzzle elements and a more than large enough skill tree! This game is amazing if you liked the originals – the graphics are much better but still faithful to the original, the game now has mod support and runs at higher frame rates. I could never get TR2 or TR3 to launch even when following various guides so it’s nice just to be able to play them again. I’m not sure how good the game is for those who never played the originals as you will just need to get used to the controls, but I think it would still be fun including new gameplay mechanics such as vehicles, while improving the puzzles and offering an even greater variety of enemies to deal with.
