About The Game
This is a consumer version of the professional VR training software developed by AVIAR and used by the biggest airports and ground handlers to train their ground staff on an everyday basis. And finally, it is available to the public. In this VR simulation, your role is a ground crew member and you will perform different tasks during an aircraft turnaround process at the airport. This is a unique first-hand experience with the highest realism, insane details, and a very serious approach. AVIAR presents the Starter Pack of the first 5 scenarios – each scenario works in training and exam modes. Starter Pack includes the following scenarios: Pre-Arrival Ramp Checks, Aircraft Marshalling, Ground Support Equipment Connections, Aircraft Cargo Doors Operations, and Pre-Departure Checks – all in various weather and lighting conditions with random issues and hazardous events. Many other scenarios will follow soon and will be available to Starter Pack owners. Always wanted to know what is exactly going on around the planes on the ground? Don’t ask. Try this at home.
A great start! As an aviation geek, this is exactly what I needed. Getting up close and personal with the B737 and A320 is wonderful and the level of detail is incredible. The scratches and dirt on the inside of access panels is just one of the many touches. I’d love to see the ability to take one plane from pre-arrival, through marshalling and connecting to disconnect and pushback, right now it’s a series of scenarios as far as I can see. Got about 50% of them in about an hour. Its a great start. Even if you are not into aviation, recommend picking this up. I have a feeling this is going to turn into something that every VR user is going to want to have in their library My only complaint’s right now are that there isn’t much to-do further than the tutorials and exams. It does feel like its holding your hand a little too much. And each task is individual rather than one after another. But hopefully with a few updates that’ll change.

A few things i’d to ask to be added in future if it’s at-all possible: Multiple aircraft liveries, cause everything right now is branded AVAIR. A little variation would go a long way to adding some realism. Cabin turnaround processes Bag and ULD Loading and unloading. Including bag tag simulation. (taking sticker from bag and placing on chart for Despite it being in Early Access, the game feels very realistic and thought-out. Definitely something for every aviation enthusiast. The graphics and level of detail are incredible! Something I would recommend adding though is a way to smoothly turn your character. Another thing I would suggest improving is the way some of the tutorials/exams are handled. Some of them tell you to press the “Next topic” button once you’re finished with a step, but others don’t and I felt like I hadn’t actually completed my task before realizing I had to press the “Next topic” button. Other than that, I can tell that this game has a ton of potential and I’d love to see this getting more updates in the future, maybe even a gamemode where you have to do every possible task yourself and successfully complete a turnaround!
