Amok Runner Direct Play:
Nice level of detail and the mechanics of driving/cycling are decent, even if it does feels a bit floaty. It has a large enough town to go around explore and the NPCs do the job of making it look busy. You even get the occasional pleasantries. The introduction to the first enemy didn’t go too well. There’s a delay sprinting after the dialogue box appears and suddenly he’s up my a** swinging an axe. I’d say he’s a bit too fast and dodging didn’t always help because he came up beside me. Thankfully, it’s a brief encounter. An attractive adventure/detective/puzzle game. There are some puzzles to solve, an open-world city to explore, and good storytelling. While some of the puzzles are challenging, the game’s story and atmosphere are fantastic. The graphics in the game are surprisingly good, and I’ve yet to encounter any major bugs. This game is worth playing, and it’s definitely worth adding to your collection.
