Anji -Implication- Stimulation that instills specific ideas in the mind subconsciously. All you have to do in this terrifying walking simulator game is down the stairs. This game is really short—I finished it in 12 minutes—but it does a pretty decent job of creating tension and being eerie. The game’s tension element, which is enhanced by the one eerie woman you can hear walking behind you, should have been strengthened with a longer interior section. The game is not long at all. I still had fun going down the stairs, though. The game employed a good deal of eerie strategies along the way. To have extended the game length, it could have benefited from a little anomalous horror thrown in. This is the scariest game I’ve ever played; I’ve witnessed a lot of gamers endure panic attacks and even cease playing altogether. Well, that’s what happened to me; five minutes into the game, my heart was still racing and I couldn’t stop staring over my shoulder.
This game was pretty good when it comes to building tension and how spooky it is but it is very short I beat the game in 12 minutes. The game could of been longer maybe an interior part but it does the tension part of the game very well as mentioned before with the one scary woman that you can hear walking behind you. The game is very short. Despite that I enjoyed the trip down the stairs. There were quite a number of creepy tactics the game used on the way down. It could’ve done with a bit of anomaly horror mixed in to extend the game time. You work your way from floor to floor, the threat getting bigger the lower you go. I am not sure what the rules are that put you at risk, but I made it to the bottom on the second try. No settings or control options that I could find, you boot in and the game starts immediately. I don’t mind this but I am sure others might.

Though, I am not sure what controls you’d want to customize since you just move and look around. I really enjoyed the Outer Worlds, it really scratched an itch I didn’t know I had for a fallout-style space western game. It has its limitations, a lack of mechanical depth in certain areas, but its clear that these largely arise from a limited budget during development. For what it is, The Outer Worlds is an excellent and enjoyable game. This even goes for the unique weapons, which rarely have an effect that makes them stand out beyond just a stat boost, and as far as I’m aware (outside of the Science Weapons) none have unique models or textures to differentiate them from regular weapons of their type.
