First time playing this, in 2022, and it’s still an awesome game, 10 years after it was first released. Ignore the reviews complaining about Ubisoft deactivating the online servers, they didn’t (they listened), and have upgraded all the backend hardware to continue to allow you to play the game, for many years to come, AND upgraded it to 64bit .. Still recommended as a great city building / economy & trading / naval combat RTS that still looks and plays great after all these years. While adhering to the fundamentals that made the Anno franchise a success, the near-future setting will bring numerous new gameplay mechanics, architectural breakthroughs, and all-new challenges.
