You’ll step into the shoes of a rookie member of the Metahuman Watch, joining forces with five teammates to venture into this enigmatic realm. Your mission? To fight fire with fire and unravel the dark secrets lurking behind the scenes. Be VERY prepared when you get ‘invited’ to the refugee camp. Do a whole bunch of stuff to prepare before you do that one. The difficulty ramps up significantly at that point. There is no rush to do it quickly. The other thing is when you go into the tunnels the game get’s a LOT more challenging. It’s even more aggravating that you can’t bring a 2nd squad with you.

Yet I still have a good time with it, as I love customising my ship, I enjoy the core gameplay even with the repetition, I enjoy the RP and siding with different factions. The combat is what I would call a very refined version of Arkham style combat. Tight. Lots of combos and special moves. The gadgets were really cool and useful. Special suit abilities all had a real impact on battles. Additionally, some content (research stations) have access locked behind unlocking specific abilities. Meaning there are three tiers of unlocking required for that content. And some achievements are locked behind all that lol. Graphically the game needs to be called out for its wonderful vistas of scaled-down Manhattan you can get from every angle you want, as well as its modest but effective use of ray tracing.
