There’s new contents to experience after every run! Now for all concepts, this is a Survivors-like, but has the dopamine range well defined and it’s a very well paced game with the challenges being able to be played in an infinite grounds after completion, for more dopamine rush. Solid survivor style game, good base and genuinely fun with good progression and balance. Nothing too groundbreaking but the artefact system is quite fun and adds a bunch of rng to the gameplay loop in a not-annoying manner. From my point of view I would put it in the upper bracket of survivor games for sure. Solid price/content/progression and many hours of content beyond what I have logged (have a bunch from the previous version).

Big thing is that I’d say it’s worth both the time and money if you are into survivor games and I don’t have regrets playing unlike quite a few others in the genre. Before their old publisher screwed them and got the previous version taken down I played it a decent amount. Devs cared enough to update existing players and continued to push updates since the original release, no complaints for me and would say it earns them a good amount of respect. Played for a few hours. Initial thoughts are the game is a little easy, jumping into nightmare pretty quickly. I’m not sure what at the moment what the progression is beyond unlocking a few characters. That being said, it’s very fun and I’ll I’m sure I’ll put in some hours. My one wish is on the main mode or campaign or w/e that I could just tell it my priority Treasure > Elite > event > normal and it could just auto progress me through it so I can jump from fight to fight quicker.
