If you felt the series was losing its way with the past few entries, Mirage will bring back that old-school Assassin’s Creed magic. A must-play for longtime fans! This version of the game gives off the vibe of the older series. The game heavily revolves around assassination, but ironically, this focus led to a lack of attention to combat mechanics. As enjoyable as the assassinations were, the combat was just as painful. It was so bad that sometimes you’d rather restart a mission after being spotted, just to avoid the agony of the combat.
